While out for a beach wander in absolutely
beautiful weather, I saw again what I think may have been a Haar.
Most commonly found in coastal Britain, a Haar or
Sea Fret is a cold sea fog. In my past I have seen them in the Highlands of
Scotland, it occurs when warmer moist air moves over the cooler sea causing the
moisture in the air to condense.
It does in deed look like a haar. That cove looks familiar - is it the same place you took us, close to the little church on the hill? Such a beautiful part of the world xx
ReplyDeleteYes, that is the place you recall ..............
