All done and ready for summer

It has been almost a month since my last Blog entry, not because nothing has been happening, I have just not had the time. It has been very busy around here doing spring yard work, moving and stacking winter fire wood (almost 7 cord), cutting grass, doing car maintenance and many other things.
One of the spring projects was the revive a garden seat (photos below). The seat was retrieved from street garbage in Oshawa, Ontario. The original wood was old and had mostly rotted, the cast metal frames were good and solid. So a spring task was to replace the wood which I hope will age nicely over the coming years.

We are now at the end of the busy spring months and ready to enjoy our first full summer on the South Shore ...
