First hike of September ….

….. and what a great outing it was.

With time appearing to be accelerating towards the end of the year, I decided that the perfect outdoor weather should not be wasted. So, I took my hiking boots and camera off to Kejimkujik National Park Seaside, which is about 81Km down the coast from Pleasantville. I suspect this location must get confused with Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site, which is 75Km inland to the north.

The day's outing resulted in an absolutely marvelous 12Km coastal hike. At times the clouds looked threatening, but in the end were completely harmless. Many warnings exist on the trail about the potential of crossing paths with a Black Bear, but fortunately none were seen.

Today’s pics ….
