This afternoon in warm temperatures, I ventured out for my first beach wander since returning from “Iceland 2026” ...
I have spent much of the last few days gaining back a lot of sleep stolen from me in Iceland. My days there had 22 hours of daylight and 2 hours of twilight. Although I had not been there too long, upon my return during the drive back from the airport, it was actually rather strange to see darkness again.
It was nice
to be perched on my rock again checking the tide was coming in on time ~ I
am delighted to report, there are no issues with that …!
