…. I had a wander on Crescent Beach with no wind blowing. I have found on my hundreds of visits to Crescent there is always a wind, sometimes it is light, warm and comfortable, while other times, particularly in the winter, it can be harsh, extremely cold and occasionally borderline unpleasant.
It was unique
to experience to have a windless Crescent Beach, which made todays outing with a
combination of bright sunshine and rolling mist, just about perfect ~ dare I ask
if it can get any better …
Lovely! Fond memories of renting a house at the far end of the beach, drive past where the long beach ends, to the short one that had 3 driveways. We stayed in the middle one. The bottom of the driveway was nearly underwater at high tide. It was interesting planning our day around the tides.
