A
drive down the LaHave River to Rissers Beach on a stunningly warm bright afternoon.
The beach is actually part of a provincial park which is only frequented by us
during the tourist off season (Never pay to visit a beach …!!!). So today was
I am sure, the first of many October through June visits to this very pleasant location.
At low tide while
wandering over the rocks I came across a few Monarch butterflies filling up on
some plants before their long journey back to Mexico for the winter. Perhaps
one of them is guy from April’s post “Foggy Wander” …? ~ https://southshoretidewatch.blogspot.ca/2017/04/a-foggy-wander.htmlLots of "Sand Dollars" on the beach today |
A wee visit also to the LaHave Islands |
