A beach to myself ...

Even on the best of days, it is not uncommon here in the South Shore to have a beach to yourself.

This morning with the tide high and a warm south wind, I was out for a marvelous beach wander at Rissers ~ all this with not another person in sight ~ “Oh how I miss Southern Ontario”, he said with a slight hint of sarcasm ….

Early morning LaHave River …

~ which was set in bright afternoon conditions at the north end of the LaHave River, this morning I was up early and off my perch to capture the south end of the same tidal river in what was misty, still and calm conditions ~ it turned out to be an enjoyable adventure …

Indian Falls ...

Taking full advantage of today’s bright warm fall weather, we took a pleasant 45-minute drive through the interior of Lunenburg County to Indian Falls. Located on the north branch of the LaHave River and known for having some of the areas best fishing, Indian Falls with its forest trail is both picturesque and unique.
